Community group The Time Trade Circle will hold a special fair and orientation this Sunday, Feb. 9 from 2-5 p.m. at the First Church in Jamaica Plain Unitarian Universalist.

The Time Trade Circle offers such services as free rides to Boston's Logan International Airport, help with childcare and dog-walking services, among other offerings. Sunday's event will include demonstrations of the group's offerings to interested and current members.

Members of the group can share skills and get help from others. For those who spend an hour helping another member, that person adds an hour to their own "account". Hours can be spent on services from other members, such as a sewing lesson, house cleaning or language lessons.

At Sunday's event, the Time Trade Circle will show its offerings and offer food, music, language skills and Reiki lessons.

Attendees can bring a dish to share as part of a potluck meal. At 2:30 p.m., attendees can join others for a demonstration on how to make their own safe, toxic-free cleaning products.

Those who attend can also bring items to donate to the raffle, such as house plants, used books, unneeded gifts, items in good condition, or handcrafted items and baked goods.

Current members can also offer demonstrations of their own offerings; those members interested in doing so can contact Dan Bensonoff at dbensonoff@gmail.com.
