Officials to Discuss Hyde Sq. Improvements This Week

The Boston Transportation Department will hold a community meeting next week regarding improvements to the Hyde Square area in Jamaica Plain.

Proposed plans call for an upgrade to sidewalks along Centre Street in the Hyde/Jackson Square area in Jamaica Plain.

Spearheaded by the BTD, the effort aims to develop roadway, intersection and streetscape design plans for that portion of the neighborhood.

The meeting will run from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8 at the Kennedy School, 7 Bolster St. in Jamaica Plain.
