Music Lineup Growing for Jamaica Plain Porchfest 2014
A series of bands are set to play on various porches throughout the neighborhood this summer.

Arriving on July 19 will be the Jamaica Plain Porchfest 2014.
The event will run from 12-3 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, with a rain date set for Sunday, July 20, 12-3 p.m.

Eight bands have been booked for the event as of mid April, with several others planned to perform. The bands will play on a number of porches in Jamaica Plain.
Residents with a porch who are interested in hosting a performance can let organizers know by commenting here.

Organizers are also looking for a "mapmaker" to create a virtual map of which porches will be included in the event. For more information, click here.
