JP Organizations Ask: What Future Do You Want?

JP Net, Egleston Square Main Streets and JPNDC are putting together this neighborhood-wide event.

Jamaica Plain is changing. A better way to put it: It has been changing for a while now.

Change is neither good or bad, but it is inevitable over time. Jamaica Plain leaders want to know how citizens of JP would like to see the community change in the future.

Jamaica Plain New Economy Transition, Egleston Square Main Streets and the Jamaica Plain Neighborhood Development Corporation are collaborating to lead a discussion this Thursday on the future of Jamaica Plain.

JP NET, Egleston Square Main Street, and JPNDC are working together to create a space that lifts everyone’s voices around what neighbors want the neighborhood to feel like in 5 years. More than thirty neighbors - residents, merchants, activists - have confirmed their attendance.

The event, which will be conducted in Spanish with simultaneous English Translation, is Thursday July 25th at 6:30pm at the Egleston Square YMCA. Those interested are asked to RSVP via email or Facebook.
