I-90 Restrictions through Boston Starting Tuesday
MassDOT maintenance schedule will require I-90 West closure Tuesday night into Wednesday.
Starting Tuesday July, 8th at 11pm, maintenance will require complete lane closures of the Ted Williams Tunnel, I-90 West through Boston until 5am Wednesday, July 9th.
Beginning in East Boston, 1-90 Westbound traffic will be diverted through the Sumner Tunnel to Haymarket, to I-93 South to access I-90 West again. I-90 Westbound traffic will be kept in the right lane as crews work in the Pru Tunnel Westbound. Trucks will be directed to use Route 1A North, to Route 16 East, following to Route 1 South to I-93 South via the Tobin Bridge.
