Hubway Station Arrives on Centre Street in Jamaica Plain

Bicyclists in Jamaica Plain can now take advantage of a new Hubway station on Center Street. 

The new station was installed on Centre Street across from City Feed and Supply this week, according to JP Centre/South Main Streets.

Hubway stations are expected to be up and running in Jamaica Plain for the spring season. A station at the neighborhood's monument was expected to be installed recently as part of the bike-sharing network, and negotiations are ongoing in regards to the location of a spot near the U.S. Post Office.

Hubway also has stations at the Jackson Square and Green Street train stations, as well as Egleston Square.
