The Arborway crash of Sept. 6 caused serious injuries to six people and halted traffic in the Parkway area for hours. Today, Kevin Cellucci, the driver whose car took the brunt of the collision, remains in a coma.
His cousin, Pete Alvarado, has created The Kevin Cellucci Foundation to support his family’s mounting medical costs.
Cellucci, 33, is a finish carpenter who was driving to a job when an oncoming car jumped the median striking his head on, according to the foundation’s website and the facts surrounding the grisly crash.
As of Tuesday afternoon, the foundation has raised $3,630 and seeks to meet a goal of $24,000.
