Community Servings to Host Blue Cross Volunteering Effort

Over 3,000 volunteers will chop veggies at the local non-profit organization.

Blue Cross Blue Shield volunteers will be chopping, dicing and peeling vegetables for 5,000 servings of soup Wednesday in Jamaica Plain.

The healthcare organization’s BlueCrew will be on site at Community Servings participating in its third annual company-wide service day.

Volunteers from Blue Cross will be volunteering at 38 other locations in Massachusetts as well.
