Landlords are facing new registration rules in the Boston area, which means costs for most are going up. The city is sponsoring a seminar in September targeting ways for landlords to better weatherize their homes and keep energy costs down.
Greenovate Boston’s energy efficiency program, Renew Boston, will host a seminar in Jamaica Plain Saturday, Sept. 28th, 2013, 10:00 -11:30 am, at Curtis Hall Community Center, 20 South Street.
From the Renew Boston website:
Come learn about how you can access special new incentives that significantly reduce the cost of energy efficiency improvements for your property including:
• A no-cost energy assessment for each unit
• No-cost instant savings measures such as high-efficiency light bulbs for individual units and common areas
There is one seminar before this in Dorchester, Sept. 16.
