Boston Water, Sewer to Discuss Impacts of Centre St. Water Main Replacement

The project is expected to impact water service interruption, noise, traffic and parking modifications.

The Boston Water and Sewer Commission on Wednesday plans to present information about an upcoming Centre Street Water Main Replacement Project.

At the meeting, officials will discuss the construction, which is planned in the area of Centre Street from Sheridan to Wise Street. The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Hennigan Community Center, 200 Heath St. in Jamaica Plain.

The replacement of the water main system is part of the BSWC's capital improvement plan, and officials said the replacement of the main will improve the overall system.
