Boston Center for Youth & Families to Host Jamaica Plain Block Party Aug. 7

The events will include food, activities and music.

The Boston Centers for Youth & Families will hold a neighborhood block party in Jamaica Plain this summer part of its ongoing schedule of parties to be held throughout the city. 

The block parties are set to be held from 5 to 7 p.m. each Thursday night in July and August, and will offer various activities from an inflatable obstacle course to a live DJ, as well as ice cream, an interactive arts activity and an animal petting zoo, among others.

Jamaica Plain's block party will be held on Thursday Aug. 7 at the BCYF Curtis Hall Community Center, 20 South St. in JP.
