BNN to Host Free Documentary Screening in Egleston Sq. June 26

The film traces a JP woman's experiences with breast cancer, from diagnosis to recovery.

The Boston Neighborhood Network will sponsor a free screening of a documentary next week that features a former Jamaica Plain resident's breast cancer experience. 

"One in Eight: Janice's Journey" will be shown as part of the BNN's 30th Anniversary series. The film follows a JP woman, Janice Fine, and her experiences of having breast cancer, from diagnosis through treatment and subsequent recovery. 

Directed by another former Jamaica Plain resident, Cynthia A. McKeown, the film will be shown on Thursday, June 26 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the BNN, 3025 Washington St. in Egleston Square. A Q&A with attendees will follow.
