More than $46,000 has been raised for West Roxbury's Mark Delamere, one of the people injured in a horrendous Arborway crash on Sept. 6.

Delamere was seriously injured in the car accident while on his way home from Boston Latin Academy, and is now in Atlanta after beginning his occupational and physical rehab at the Shepherd Center in Atlanta, according to Stephen Delamere, Mark's uncle.

His family has created a donation page on gofundme.com (CLICK on link to donate) and in a mere six days more than $30,000 had been raised with a donation goal of $250,000.

The following is posted on the donation page for Delamere:

Dear Friends: As many of you know, Mark was seriously injured in a car accident on September 6, 2013 returning home from his high school, Boston Latin Academy. Unfortunately, he has sustained a severe injury to his spinal cord. Mark has a long road of recovery ahead of him, but he is a determined young man and is fighting everyday to get better. Initially, Mark will be treating at The Shepherd Center in Atlanta, which specializes in therapy for spinal cord injuries. Many of you have asked about donating to help curb the extraordinary costs for Mark's current and future care and needs. In response to your tremendous support, we have created this fund. We will also be planning a fundraiser for him and will post details soon. Mark and Sheila, and everyone in our families, are appreciative of the outpouring of love and prayers that you have all given and we know that Mark has your support in his fight.

If you would like you can also send donations directly to the Mark Delamere Fund (Acct. 1325370638), Citizens Bank, 1999 Centre Street, MA796, West Roxbury, MA 02132. Your donations are greatly appreciated!

Stephen Delamere (Mark's Uncle) on behalf of Mark, Sheila, Mark and the Delamere and Mulry families, thank you!

There is also an adult street hockey tournament being played at Fallon Field on Nov. 2 to help defray the medical costs for Delamere.
