WALCZAK KICKS OFF CITYWIDE "BILL'S BOSTON BEER TOUR" AT JEANIE JOHNSON PUB IN JAMAICA PLAIN

JAMAICA PLAIN – Boston Mayoral Candidate Bill Walczak met with Jamaica Plain residents on Friday, August 2nd at Jeanie Johnston’s Pub at 144 South Street in Jamaica Plain. This event kicks off “Bill’s Boston Beer Tour” where Bill will meet with voters in local pubs and bars.

“Jeanie Johnston’s is a great pub, and an excellent place in the neighborhood,” said Walczak. “In order for me to create effective and practical policies as mayor, it is important for me to talk to locals in all of Boston’s neighborhoods. Talking face-to-face with Jamaica Plain residents at Jeanie’s tonight will help me better serve them in City Hall. I look forward to discussing Boston’s future with residents of all of our city’s neighborhoods during this initiative.”

Speaking with thirty Jamaica Plain residents, Bill discussed community concerns for the upcoming election including economic justice, charter schools, and environmental policy.
