RE/MAX Destiny Expands with High-Producing Local Team in Jamaica Plain

Boston, MA – February 10, 2014 – RE/MAX Destiny, with offices in Cambridge and Jamaica Plain, is pleased to announce the addition of three seasoned real estate professionals to its roster, who will be working together as the Ellen, Janis & Josh Real Estate Team in the Jamaica Plain office located at 363 Centre Street.

Joining the RE/MAX Destiny team are Ellen Grubert, Janis Lippman, and Josh Muncey, all formerly of Coldwell Banker. This new team brings more than 35 years of local, combined real estate experience. In 2013, they successfully completed 98 transactions and posted more than $42 million of volume* in the Jamaica Plain area.

Grubert has been in involved in the Boston real estate market for the past 25 years. Beginning in 1988, she began selling real estate in Boston’s now trendy South End neighborhood. She quickly established herself as one of the most enthusiastic and service oriented real estate Agents in the industry and is one of the top producing Agents in the country.  She has won numerous awards and consistently been in the Presidents International and Elite rankings of her former brokerage.

Part of Grubert’s team is her partner in business as well as life, Janis Lippman. Lippman brings many years of management and operations experience as well as exceptional customer service. She holds a business management degree from Northeastern University and is exceptionally knowledgeable in all aspects of New England architecture.

Grubert and Lippman have first-hand experience from having lived and worked in Boston’s Jamaica Plain and Roslindale neighborhoods for over 15 years and in the South End for 11 years. Both are Accredited Buyer's Representatives (ABR) and REALTORS®. In addition to their real estate work, both are very active in the community as past Board members of the Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition and Mass Equality.   They also participate in a number of local initiatives including Community Servings, GLAD, Rosie’s Place, PFLAG, Victory Programs, and the Home for Little Wanderers to name a few.

Muncey is a Newton area native and graduate of a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.  He’s been working in Boston Real Estate for over 10 years and in both 2012 and 2013, received the prestigious President’s Circle award from Coldwell Banker for ranking in the top 5% of all agents.  He prides himself on combining a deep knowledge of the local market with a ‘whatever-it-takes’ commitment to customer service.  Muncey is very active in the Jamaica Plain community, currently serving on the board of the Jamaica Plain Neighborhood Development Corporation and the Jamaica Plain Neighborhood Council’s Zoning Committee, and is also a past Board member of the Greater Boston Association of Realtors.
