Food Truck Festivals of New England Partners with the Arnold Arboretum to Celebrate Lilac Sunday on Mother's Day, May 11th
Food Truck Festivals of New England is pleased to announce the dozen fan-favorite Boston food trucks vending at this year’s 106th Annual Lilac Sunday celebration at Harvard University’s Arnold Arboretum on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 11th. Food trucks will be serving up a variety of tacos, BBQ treats, fresh seafood, Asian fusion cuisine, and lots of vegetarian options, plus French macarons, homemade ice cream sandwiches, and much more. For one day only for this special event, picnicking in the Arboretum is allowed and encouraged (blankets and lawn chairs recommended).

The annual event showcases Boston’s unique learning landscape in bloom and offers a fun outdoor environment to welcome spring and celebrate Mother’s Day. In addition to the food trucks, there will also be children’s activities, live music, and ongoing tours of the Arboretum’s lilac collection. The event runs from 10 AM – 3 PM and the food trucks will be vending from 11 AM – 3 PM.
Tours and event activities will take place throughout the northern portion of the Arboretum, closest to the Centre Street Gate. There is no admission fee to the park and dogs are welcome.
This is the first of many events that Food Truck Festivals of New England will be participating in and hosting, with weekly events and festivals to follow in Somerville, Boston, Watertown, Worcester, and more.
