Knitting Group to Meet at Library, Winter Birds Program
Here are five things you need to know Thursday, Jan. 16.
1. It will be mostly cloudy with a high near 42 in Jamaica Plain, according to the National Weather Service.
2. A knitting group will meet at the Jamaica Plain branch library at 6:30 p.m., Thursday. All levels are welcome and anyone can drop in.
3. The Jamaica Plain branch library will hold "Creative Drama at the Library," a weekly program for children between 7 and 12 years old, will take place at 3 p.m., Thursday.
4. Homes for Winter Birds, a five-week homeschool session, sponsored by Boston Nature Center and The Eliot School, 24 Eliot Street, will begin Thursday, Jan. 16, at 1 p.m.
