JP Gets Prepared for Fall Weather
Five things you need to know in JP, Tuesday, Aug. 13.
1. Hurricane Preparedness: The Jamaica Plain Forum and JP NET wants to know, are you prepared for hurricane season? In one week, both local organizations will get together to discuss this at the Nate Smith House, 155 Lamartine St., at 6:30 p.m. You can RSVP on Facebook.
2. Housing & Development: Also in one week, the Jamaica Plain housing and development committee will meet at the Farnsworth House, 90 South St., Aug. 20 at 6:30 p.m.
3. Late Night Grub: If you're in the mood for a late (or at least later) night snack, you could always head to Tres Gatos, which closes each night at 11 p.m. now.
4. Blogging: Have something to say to the community? Start a blog!
