DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the works of The Home for Little Wanderers&rsquo\; 
 brightest artists at the annual Voices &amp\; Visions gala on Wednesday\
 , May 23\, 2012\, Seaport World Trade Center\, Boston. This fundraiser f
 eatures a vibrant exhibit of visual arts and creative writing pieces by 
 children in The Home&rsquo\;s many programs. Each creation is designed t
 hrough an innovative year-long art project that teaches positive ways of
  self-expression and encourages artistic development in children with em
 otional and behavioral challenges.\nIn addition to the art exhibit\, hig
 hlights of this special event include a cocktail reception\, silent auct
 ion\, dinner\, program and recognition of special guests. Voices &amp\; 
 Visions 2012 will honor Robert K. Sheridan\, President and CEO\, The Sav
 ings Bank Life Insurance Company of Massachusetts (SBLI) and Virginia Gr
 iffin\, longtime volunteer at The Home for Little Wanderers and owner of
  Watson&rsquo\;s Candies in Walpole\, for their continued support of The
  Home.\nThe theme of this year&rsquo\;s exhibit &mdash\; &ldquo\;Heroes&
 rdquo\; &mdash\; provides an opportunity for children to creatively port
 ray their personal heroes\, both real and fictional through various 2 an
 d 3-dimensional media and creative writing.&nbsp\; Homage will be paid t
 o fallen and living heroes through &ldquo\;masterpieces&rdquo\; that wil
 l be available for purchase. All proceeds benefit the thousands of child
 ren and families across Eastern Massachusetts served by The Home&rsquo\;
 s programs each year.
