The JP Zoning Committee (usually) meets the first and third Thursdays of the month.

Meetings are usually held at Farnsworth House.

We post draft agendas here in advance of the meetings when possible.

For the Oct. 11 meeting, here are potential agenda items (from an email from the committee chairman.)

"There are two matters on the agenda – for ten minutes only, the return of 98 Rockview Street (change occupancy from church to three residential dwelling units); and for the remainder, 161 South Huntington Avenue  (construct new five-story residential building with one level of underground parking – building to contain 96 dwelling units).  This meeting will be very well-attended by members of the community and other interested parties, so I encourage everyone to make a special effort to attend and to arrive prior to 7PM."

For the Oct. 25 meeting, here are potential agenda items (from an email from the committee chairman.)

"The only matter that is sure to be on the agenda for that meeting is 3383 Washington Street (owners of property currently occupied by Royal Fried Chicken seek to construct one-story commercial building).  Other matters that are likely but not yet confirmed are 296 Pond Street (demolish and rebuild existing addition, including first floor bathroom, and expand kitchen area toward back of property) and 633 Centre Street (First Baptist Church seeks to change occupancy to allow for additional use as daycare and preschool for children 15 mos to 5 years old)."
