 ges 8 and up who play violin\, viola\, cello\, or mandolin at intermedia
 te to advanced levels will taught by Fiddle Champion Bronwyn Keith-Hynes
 . This 12 week class&nbsp\; (Sept. 16th through December 9th ) will be h
 eld on Sundays from 12:00 PM &ndash\; 2:00 PM at 146A South Street in Ja
 maica Plain. No previous experience with the Mark O&rsquo\;Connor method
  is necessary. Limited to 12 students\, the tuition is $360 for the seme
 ster.\nThe class will focus on building repertoire\, learning group jamm
 ing and arranging skills in an American fiddle music setting.&nbsp\; Rep
 ertoire from the Mark O&rsquo\;Connor Method Book will be taught with sh
 eet music and by ear during a portion of the class. The rest of class ti
 me will be spent learning how to jam in a group setting\, developing an 
 authentic fiddling sound\, and arranging fiddle tunes for an end of seme
 ster group recital for family and friends.\nThe O'Connor Method is a mus
 ic pedagogy that leverages the timeless melodies of American Root Music 
 to develop solid string technique and features creative expression and i

  Keith-Hynes\, a fiddle champion from Charlottesville\, Virginia\, is a 
 student at Berklee School of Music. &nbsp\;She has performed throughout

 o study with local traditional musicians.&nbsp\; Trained in the O&rsquo\
