 ENTER\nPresenting: Kemi Alabi\,&nbsp\;a writer and performer  from Milwa
 ukee\, is pursuing a joint  degree in philosophy and political  science 
 from Boston University.  There\, she served for two years as  president 
 of spoken word collective  Speak for Yourself. Kemi competed  with BU&rs
 quo\;s first slam team\,  representing the university at a national  con
 test in 2010. Since then\,  she&rsquo\;s performed in colleges\, museums
 \,  poetry clubs\, theaters\, and  protests throughout New England. She 
  competed in the National Poetry  Slam as a member of the 2012 Boston  P
 oetry Slam Team.\nJennifer Barber&nbsp\;is  the author of&nbsp\;Given  A
 way&nbsp\;and&nbsp\;Rigging the Wind\,&nbsp\;both from Kore Press\,  and
 &nbsp\;Vendaval&nbsp\;in&nbsp\;Take  Three: 3&nbsp\;(Graywolf Press). Sh
 e is the recipient of a  Pushcart Prize\, a  St. Botolph Grant\, a Heinr
 ich Boll Cottage residency\,  and the Anna  Davidson Rosenberg Award. Re
 cent poems have appeared  in&nbsp\;Orion\, Cerise  Press\, the&nbsp\;New
  Yorker\,&nbsp\;the&nbsp\;Harvard Divinity Bulletin\,  and  the&nbsp\;Ge
 ttysburg Review. She teaches at Suffolk University and is   founding and
  current editor of the literary journal&nbsp\;Salamander\, now   celebra
 ting its 20th year.\nDan Memmolo&nbsp\;grew up in  the suburbs of Boston
  where  he discovered the virtues of a three-chord  stomp\, a 15-foot ju
 mp shot\,  and the seven dirty words.&nbsp\;His poetry  collection\,&nbs
 p\;Fist City\,&nbsp\;won the  2011 Holland Prize from Logan House  Press
 .&nbsp\;He is the author of the  chapbook&nbsp\;Beat Surrender&nbsp\;(Ma
 in Street Rag\,  2006) and his poems have  appeared in numerous magazine
 s\,  including&nbsp\;Atlanta Review\, Gargoyle\, New  York Quarterly&nbs
 p\;and&nbsp\;Southern  Poetry Review.&nbsp\;He holds an MFA in creative 
  writing from Virginia  Commonwealth University.\nSuggested donation $5.
