Brian Arredondo, the younger brother of Lance Corporal Alex Arredondo, for whom the JP Post Office is named, will be remembered tonight with a candlelight vigil. Attendees are asked to bring a cup and candle.

Brian Arredondo, the family said, committed suicide. The Arredondo family is well known in JP. The vigil commemorates all victims of suicide.

Alex Arredondo died fighting in Iraq. His father and step mother have been outspoken anti-war voices.

Carlos you are in my thoughts. I will always remember when our yards abutted..Me on rosemary St and you on South Street and Brian and Alex playing outside. It was so devastating what you went through when Alex died, that I can not imagine the loss of both of your sons. You are in my thoughts and prayers and know that Brian is at peace now with his brother both in Heaven. May your good memories of your beautiful children always remain in your heart, If there is anything you need, you know that although I am no longer in Boston, I can help. Take care "neighbor" Kathy High and family.
