DESCRIPTION:Let us train and inspire the musician\, student and ambassado
 r&nbsp\;in your child!\nBoston City Singers\, a nonprofit organization\,
  fills a void in the after-school education of children for whom arts ed
 ucation is lacking.\nWeekly singing classes (for ages 4-6) and chorus re
 hearsals (for ages 7-11) ensure students receive well-balanced music ins
 truction coupled with performance\, youth development and cultural explo
 ration.&nbsp\;Singers develop progressive mastery of skills with childre
 n from backgrounds different than their own\, engaging hearts and minds 
 during the critical after-school hours. Emphasis is placed on personal d
 iscipline\, teamwork and group cooperation. Through ongoing mentor relat
 ionships with older youth and teachers who share common interests\, sing
 ers are connected to a strong and supportive community.&nbsp\;\nClasses 
 take place each Saturday throughout the school year at 9:00 - 10:15am.\n
 Tuition: Singing classes - $200 per semester\; chorus training classes -
  $250 per semester\nFinancial Aid is available. Boston City Singers ensu
 res no child is ever excluded from Boston City Singers because of an ina
 bility to pay full tuition.&nbsp\;\nStop by one Saturday morning to "try
  out" a class with your child.\nChorus programs also available in Dorche
 ster\, Hyde Park\, Mattapan and North Cambridge. Boston City Singers als
 o offers a Concert Chorus program for young people ages 11-18. Call Foun
