This yoga practice implements the principles of Ayurveda, the holistic health care system of India that is over 5,000 years old. The practice is geared towards balancing the subtle and gross bodies, as well as the mind.
This class will provide deeper instruction in the use of asana, pranayama, chanting and meditation for healing based upon Ayurvedic principles. Ayurvedic Yoga can be especially helpful for reducing stress, anxiety, pain, and poor digestion.
The use of breathing exercises and meditation techniques that pacify the doshas, quiet the nerves, and remove stagnation.

Combined, these practices aim to improve blood circulation, reduce arthritis, enhance sexual life and improve overall health.
