While this K1-5th Boston public school is technically in Roxbury, many people identify it more strongly with Jamaica Plain.
A typical day at the "Magical Mendell" provides students with two hours of literacy instruction and 70 minutes of math instruction. The school is in the West assignment zone. Uniforms are required.
