ANSWER: Caffè Aromi!
This was a delicious half-panini and a decaf cafe au lait. Yes, my secret is out. Ever since I turned 40 caffeine gives me the jitters. They'll make anything on their coffee menu as a decaf, by the way.
It's a welcome addition to Hyde Square and is becoming part of the regular rotation of places around JP where you'll see me working on my Patch laptop.

Each Saturday I post a photo from a dish I've eaten at a JP restaurant. In the comment section, make your guess about which restaurant served the meal. I'll circle back with the answer on Monday.
Take a look at this week's meal and Guess the Restaurant in the comments. Good luck!

I think is from El Oriental de Cuba because of the sandwich.

and ... the ultimate question ... how was the paninni?
and for that matter, how is cafe' Aromi ... it looks nice, but has such limited food options that I never think to go there ... makes more sense to walk past it and go further down centre toward Jackson where the casual places have tons to choose from, not as pleasant dining spaces, but lots of variety is more important, especially when grabbing a bite with a friend and each person wants a few things to choose from. Seems to much like June bug ... nice space, but no pizzaz for the food offerings. BUT much NICER staff than June bug had by the end of their time here.

Hi Rich, the panini was crisp and delicious. Recommended!
And it's early days for this cafe. They plan to be carefully trotting out new menu items over the coming months as they test the market and potentially expand their hours. And if all goes well, they also hope to be allowed to serve food on the inside patio.
