2. Fred Ciampa: As you may have heard, Fred Ciampa, proprietor of Same Old Place, died suddenly on Sunday night. Once I know details of the plans for the service, I will post them. Meanwhile, please see this Gazette story.

3. See What's Beneath Jamaica Pond: On Wednesday, a team is bringing their underwater robot to the pond. They'll show us what kind of trash we've let get into the pond and tell us what effects that has on the ecosystem. And maybe they'll find Jessie...

4. Hubway’s Birthday Bash: The Hubway bike-sharing system is celebrating its birthday at South Station! Launched in 2011 with 600 bikes, The Hubway aims to revolutionize transit in town. Hang out with fellow bike lovers, enjoy Boloco’s bike-powered smoothie maker and Taza chocolate from 6 to 8 p.m. While you're there, urge them to add a JP station.

5. JP's Unsolved Murders: John Ruch at the Gazette has put together a list of the neighborhood's most notorious unsolved slayings. It goes all the way back to the Bussey Woods murders of 1865.
