The Future of Jackson Square: What's Your Take?

The Boston Redevelopment Authority hosted a meeting last night to receive public input on a new Jackson Square development.

 

The Jackson Square community met last night in one of several public meetings about a new development in the area.

The Boston Redevelopment Authority met to discuss a new phase of the Jackson Square Redevelopment Initiative, a Jamaica Plain Neighborhood Development Corporation program to bring “community-controlled” development to this section of Jamaica Plain.

On the table was a discussion about the project at 75 Amory Ave., a development that would bring 39 affordable rental units along with parking and infrastructure upgrades.

With the 225 Centre St. development already in the works nearby, the 75 Amory Ave. development promises to continue to reshape the look of the neighborhood.
