Snow to Continue Through the Morning

As of 10:20 p.m. Friday, snow will begin to taper off this afternoon.

The snow came down in sheets beginning at about 7 p.m. last night, and it will continue through the morning.

According to the National Weather Service, it will continue to snow today until about 4 p.m., with a possible additional foot of accumulation through Saturday.

The snow will be gone by Sunday though and Jamaica Plain will have plenty of digging out to do as drifts began to creep as high as one foot during the 10 o’clock hour Friday.

Jamaica Plain Patch will provide weather updates throughout the day. Follow JP Patch on Twitter and like us on Facebook for more information.
