Well, it's really snowing after all.

The most recent weather forecasts predict Boston will get between 3-6 inches through Thursday. Sources vary: WCVB estimates we'll get 4-6 inches while the National Weather Service predicts 3-5 inches.

According to the WCVB meteorologist, much depends on where exactly the rain/snow line falls as we move into evening.

Boston is having one of the least-snowy winters on record. In fact, politicians and residents are urging the T to use up to $40 million in unused snow removal money to plug the transit system's budget gap.

If you've got snow photos to share with JP residents (like the one attached of Molly, The Official Dog of JP Patch), please do.
