Shooting on Park Lane in Parkside in Jamaica Plain

Police are investigating an apparent shooting at 493 Walnut Ave. One victim showed up at Brigham and Women's Hospital with the window of the car that took him there shot out.

 

UPDATE, Monday 11:20 p.m. — Police say the victim, a 31-year-old man, was shot in the left arm. His wounds are not life-threatening.

According to developing scanner reports, someone was shot at Walnut and Park Lane in JP's Parkside neighborhood.

The man who was shot was driven to Brigham & Women's Hospital by a woman, according to scanner traffic.

Ballistic evidence and shattered glass were found by police at the scene of the apparent shooting.

The scene, which has been cleared by police, is just across from White Stadium. A woman who answered the door at a nearby house said she was employed to clean the house and did not hear anything.
