Looking for a paperclip-like red stool as a holiday gift? Boston Magazine says you can find one at a Jamaica Plain gift shop.
This red stool, which can be found in Room 68 at 68 South St., was highlighted in Boston Magazine’s article “Shop Around: Holiday Gift Ideas from 10 Boston Neighborhoods.”
“This colorful, paperclip-like stool—dreamed up by Giacomo Castagnola, a Peruvian designer studying at MIT—doubles as a work of art,” the magazine said.
The powder-coated steel and bamboo stool, “Tripode,” costs $399, according to Boston Magazine.

These guys deserve all of the media coverage they are getting. They are on the cutting edge of design and Jamaica Plain is so lucky to have a store like this.
