I was pleased to see such a good turn out, on a soaking rainy day. I don't know his family, but wanted to pay my respects to a local boy who died in Iraq in 2004, at the age of 20. 7 years later, we have not forgotten him and with the Post Office now dedicated in his name, I and many others will remember his sacrifice for years to come.

I'm Alex's stepmother. Thank you for attending! Rain or shine, I was impressed how people showed up!
