Midway Café to Appear at City Disciplinary Hearing

The Midway Café will appear before a board for a hearing marked “disciplinary” by the city of Boston.

 

The Midway Café will appear at a city disciplinary hearing this morning for an incident involving the igniting of fireworks, according to a schedule of hearings from the Mayor’s Office of Consumer Affairs and licensing.

The hearing, labeled “Hazardous condition inside/outside premise; fireworks ignited in and in front of premises,” will take place in Boston City Hall, room 801 at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday.

The fireworks were lit by an obviously moronic patron. I don't see how it's the Midway's fault. Are they supposed to give body-cavity searches at the door to ensure one knucklehead doesn't decide to let some firecrackers rip? The city has it in for the Midway. Been giving them a hard time since forever.
