A six lane highway similar to Columbus or Commonwealth ave with six new stoplights instead of two and two u turns will definitely create more gridlock and air pollution and carbon emissions than would be created with a smaller and shorter bridge but as we kearned at Thursday night's hearing the decision is final regardless of the MEPA review so getvusedcto it JP and add twenty minutes or more to you daily commute

Ugh. I am so against this plan. I really want another bridge.

There's an advantage to having such low expectations ("add twenty minutes or more to your daily commute"): You will probably be pleasantly surprised in 2016!

the bikelanes should extend all the way down to ukrane way on both sides - the worst part of cycling through there is the stretch between ukrane and the bus terminal - especially heading south (when the left lane ends and you get motorists suddenly merging into the shared lane without looking - I've been buzzed several times there).

shared path is bad - I don't want to run over pedestrians.

also is there a way to eliminate that right turn cut-through from the arborway onto washington street? motorists like to blow throw red lights at these sorts of intersections - which is dangerous to pedestrians and cyclists.

otherwise - this is looking pretty good.
