JPNC: Get Your Flu Vaccine This Weekend

The Jamaica Plain Neighborhood Council, along with the city of Boston and health officials, are urging residents to get vaccinated at clinics this weekend.

 

The city of Boston has declared a health emergency due to the high number of flu cases so far, and the Jamaica Plain Neighborhood Council is urging resident to get vaccinated against the annually striking virus at a free clinic this weekend.

The following clinics will offer free vaccines, administered by nasal spray or injection, this Saturday:

Brookside Community Health Center

“All residents are urged to get themselves and their children vaccinated, and it is never too late in the season,” said a JPNC newsletter alert written by Chair Benjamin Day.  

There are several other area clinics open and available to administer vaccinations this weekend as well.
