Fredda Raimondi won $650,000 on a $20 scratch ticket.
A Jamaica Plain woman won a big prize when she played a $20 lottery ticket.
Fredda Raimondi, a beautician from Jamaica Plain, won the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “Lifetime Spectacular” game, which offers a prize of $50,000 for a minimum of 20 years.
Raimondi opted for a lump sum payment of $650,000, according to the Mass. Lottery website. She purchased the ticket at W&A Again convenience store at 1250 Boylston St., Boston. The store will receive a $10,000 on the sale.
Raimondi, who won the prize Jan. 14, told the Lottery she plans to put half of her winnings in a retirement fund and that she would be taking a vacation.
There are three more $50,000 a year for life prizes and two $400,000 a year for life prizes remaining in the game, the site says.
