Time to dig out. What are the consequences if you don't? More than you'd think... http://www.bostoncondolawyer.com/2012/01/11/what-happens-if-we-dont-shovel/

Yes it's Sunday and we residents are still awaiting plows. Now what? Where are they and when will they be clearing the side streets off the main streets? They are currently impassable. I thought the mayor was " fornicating" a plan to keep us safe?

DITTO!!! and where's the news about this? I appreciate the 'wow' pictures and the record book statistics, but wtf? how about any practical information? like: is CVS open yet? and where are the plows?

The plow finally came to our street and left an 8-foot snowbank in front of our driveway. I actually flagged down a tow truck early this morning and the guy said, "I can't do anything about that, it's too much snow." My parents, in their 70's, arrive today to babysit because my son's school is closed tomorrow, so my husband is outside digging it by hand and I'm about to join him.

YES - there's TOO MUCH SNOW! I JUST saw a first plow here since FRIDAY...I'm amazed it took so long, but I know the storm was bad. Still, our cars are TOTALLY buried and there's no where to put it. I don't know how many of us will get to work tomorrow. I may not! Very frustrated. I wish they could bring tanks of HOT WATER and just spray the cars and street!
