JP Spots Nominated for Best of 2013 Poll
The Boston Phoenix’s annual “Best of Boston” is a friendly voter-based competition among several Boston-based establishments.
This is The Cali burger at GrassFed. The restaurant was nominated in the "best burger" subcategory in the Boston Phoenix's annual "Best of Boston Readers' Poll."

Jamaica Plain is packed with places to eat and drink, it’s no wonder most of them were nominated in a massive best of Boston competition.
Numerous Jamaica Plain bars and restaurants were nominated in a variety of categories for the Boston Phoenix’s “The Best 2013 Readers Poll
Canto 6 is nominated for best bakery, Centre Street Café is nominated for best brunch, The Haven is nominated for best bar and Grassfed is nominated for best burger, just to name a few.
The competition features four major categories: arts & entertainment, food & drink, shopping and city life. Within each category there are several subcategories. Readers are asked to vote for one establishment per subcategory, which contains about five places.

Love the menu of the restaurant side of Jame's Gate and love the fire place on their bar side! It's an added plus that the staff are sexy and attentive :)

Grassfed best burger? Are they high? We have some amazing burgers in JP, namely Ten Tables, The Haven and even the burger at Centre Street Cafe. Grassfed, although they get points for using local meat, is not a great burger.

With all due respect to the people who eat there, I have never seen a restaurant that looks so, well....unappetizing...and the name is such a turnoff. I agree that most of the local pubs serve a wicked good burger but my all time favorite is Doyle's....hands-down, the best. Plus the atmosphere is for free. I also like their buffalo wings and pizza....
