Jamaica Plain Engineers Win Grammy for Best Engineered Album

Engineers from JP's Soundmirror won Best Engineered Album, Classical for their work on "Elmer Gantry."

A recording studio nestled on JP's Green Street won a Grammy on Sunday.

Engineers Byeong-Joon Hwang and John Newton and Jesse Lewis, mastering engineer, took home the Grammy for Best Engineered Album, Classical. The award was for their work on Elmer Gantry, a new American opera performed by the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and Florentine Opera Chorus.

This is far from the first Grammy won by Soundmirror Inc., which has a long history of nominations and wins.
