Police have arrested a Jamaica Plain man in connection with a stabbing on Hyde Park Avenue Saturday night.

About 8:50 p.m., police were called to 244 Hyde Park Ave. where they found a man with an apparent stab wound to his arm. The man, who was taken to Brigham & Women's Hospital for treatment, said a person he knew had stabbed him.

Police searched the area and found a man with a minor stab wound to his hand at 277 Hyde Park Ave. That man, Olavio Leite, 25, was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
