Groped Woman Says Man Who Touched Her Tried to Give Her Cash to Shut Up

Police discover alleged groper at Forest Hills station already had three outstanding warrants for his arrest.

A 45-year old Jamaica Plain man was arrested on Saturday after he was accused of grabbing a woman's buttocks while waiting for a bus at Forest Hills MBTA Station.

Gary Maggiacomo of 170 Morton St. was arrested Saturday afternoon after a 20-year old woman from Dorchester said she had been waiting with her for a Rte. 16 bus in the lower busway when Maggiacomo allegedly grabbed her. The woman told police she yelled, "Why did you grab me?"

According to police, the man tried to offer the woman cash to stop screaming. He fled across Hyde Park Avenue but police caught up with him in the parking lot beside the Forest Hills Diner.

Arresting Officers Nora Carroll and Michael Bolotin placed Maggiacomo under arrest for indecent assault-and-battery. The arrest report says that after the arrest, it was discovered that Maggiacomo already had three warrants for his arrest; two for failure to appear in court and one for possession of a Class B substance.

Sort of looks like a groper, doesn't he? Seriously, would you pull out your wallet in front of this charmer? Buy a used IPod from him?

An air of arrogant stupidity, perhaps, with just a touch of hostile indifference, which combine to create this classic example of Creepus Americanus, clearly the Shelterite clan. Dude isn't a JP resident, he stays at a local shelter, and the name, mug and the haircut say Reve-ah or maybe Malden.

I dreaded mention of the shelter lest all the self-proclaimed crusaders gather to burn it down, politically at least. And I'll likely be verbally pillaged and vilified for seeming to ignore 'the real issue.' But que serra, serra. Lighten up, ladies and gents, ya might not live longer but it'll be less dreadful being alive.
