Helicopter Work Slows Jamaicaway Sunday
Crews will be shuttling HVAC equipment via helicopter from a nearby ballfield to the top of Jamaica Tower. The work is scheduled to run from 8 a.m to 2 p.m.

If you see a chopper along the Jway this morning, don't be alarmed. It's part of a construction effort at Jamaicaway Tower.
The crew is working from a staging area at a ballfield across the street. The Jamaicaway will be shut intermittently for safety reasons. Work is scheduled to run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday.
