While most readers of Jamaica Plain-based news live in the Boston neighborhood, they probably don’t know you can take a vacation there as well.

Bostinno.com highlighted Jamaica Plain in its weekly “Mini-Vacation of the Week” series March 5. Jamaica Plain served as the series' third installment.

The site made note of Jamaica Plain’s penchant for beer, spotlighting the Samuel Adams Brewery on Amory Street, talked up the Boston Cyberarts Gallery on Green Street and suggested a meal at James’s Gate.

The Seaport district and Somerville’s Union Square served as the backdrops for the site’s first two installments in the series.
