We've assembled a weekly calendar of kid-friendly activities and new places to try out with children. Each Friday at 11 a.m., we'll give you the info on the five best family activities or events for the week.

Why go: Ferris Wheels Bike Shop and City Councilor Matt O'Malley sponsor another in their series of bicycle movies. Tonight’s "The Flying Scotsman" is about a champion German cyclist. Plus there's free soda and popcorn.
2. Nature Play Date: Let's G.O.! (Get Outside)
Where: Mass Audubon's Boston Nature Center 500 Walk Hill Street, Mattapan
When: Saturday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Price: Free
Why go: The Boston Nature Center has a new play area where urban kids can reconnect with the natural world. Check it out!
3. Boston Children’s Chorus Spring Concert
Where: Old South Church, 645 Boylston St, Boston
When: Saturday, 2 p.m.
Price: $10 individuals / $20 for a family of four Buy Tickets
Why go: Venezuelan guest conductor María Guinand leads a program of Latin American music from her home country as well as from Brazil, Argentina, and more.
Where: Trinity Church, 206 Clarendon Street, Boston
When: Sunday, 9 a.m.
Price: Browsing is free
Why go: The theme of the fair is Easter. Besides a wide selection of children’s book titles, there’s a story time, crafts, and sweets to fill your child’s holiday basket.
5. Baby-Led Breastfeeding Class for Pregnant Moms
Where: 520 Centre Street
When: Sunday, 3-5 p.m.
Price: $40
Why go: Dr. Jessica Lang Kosa teaches a class for expecting mothers who need to learn the basics about breastfeeding.
