Bartlett Sq. Building to Get Café, Salon

The Green Street area will house new businesses coming soon.

Just up the road from the Sam Adams Brewery and across the street from the Green Street Orange line station will soon exist a thriving business district, including a café, a salon and pilates studio.

The Bartlett Square building at 154 Green St. already houses Boston Pilates, and a new 60 seat café – plus 50 outdoor seats – should be opening in June at the location, according to the Jamaica Plain Gazette.

According to signs at the location, the café is hiring for all positions. There is still no official name for the café, according to the Gazette.

A salon will be opening at the location at an undetermined time also.

The building’s upper floors house the Bartlett Square Condominiums.

Another salon? I just don't understand why. There are already SO many salons on South and Centre Street. A Mexican or Mediterranean Restaurant would have been so much better!

Seriously, what the heck is with JP and salons?! We really don't need 50. Honest.
