Want to help us give a party to unite our whole extended neighborhood? We need volunteers to help us create this year's Wake Up the Earth Festival to celebrate spring and urban community and creativity. We can use artists,craftspeople, organizers,everybody. You can help with outreach, giant-puppet and banner painting and repair, help our festival art teacher teach kids to make costumes and parade animals , or come early or mid-day May 5 to set up signs, banners, the giant cardboard slide or carry a puppet on a pole in the Parade and marshal the paraders. Volunteers get free food and meet their neighbors from all over Southwest Boston.
